                   Super K ( Potassium Sulphate)
 
Tests have shown when stripping paint off metal using the same equipment, Super K is twenty to thirty percent faster than sodium bicarbonate.

Another test concluded in comparison to seventy grit silica sand, Super K was as fast in removing paint without pitting the metal surface unlike silica sand.
 
 
Product details
Super K is a hard sharp crystal used as a blasting media. Super K is water-soluble, environmentally friendly blast media that cleans, degreases and removes paint, coatings and surface rust. Super K works like soda but is much faster and more aggressive with minimum disturbance to the under laying surface.

 
                                   Effective & Quick

Capable of removing coatings, mill scale and medium to heavy rust scale. Twenty to thirty faster than blasting with soda bicarbonate.  Environmentally Safe Water soluble, non-toxic, ph neutral.  Will not damage or kill foliage or vegetation.
Safe for Process Areas Safe to use around rotating equipment, bearings, and sliding mechanisms
Non Sparking Will not produce sparks and is suitable for use in explosion proof areas; including refineries, chemical plants, and grain elevators

Surface does not need to be neutralized after blasting.  Water Soluble Super K can be used in low, high and ultra high water blasting systems. Use of Super K in these systems result in higher production rates than water only.  Worker Friendly Non-toxic, silica free.  Minimum Disturbance to Under Laying Surface
Super K will not create heat build up, pit, score, or warp metal. Effective on steel, concrete, fiberglass, gelcoat, thin gauge sheet metal, aluminum and other soft metals. Improved Crack Detection Abrasive blast medias tend to peen a crack closed, making crack detection difficult. Blasting with Super K actually cleans out the crack without peening , leaving it exposed and easy to detect.
